Learning Music Theory as a Producer

I used to think music theory had to be complicated, but I’m starting to see it as a practical tool. Even basic ideas like scales, chords, and intervals can make writing music feel less random.

I’m not trying to master theory overnight. I’m learning enough to make better choices when writing melodies, basslines, and chord progressions. Small theory lessons can make a big difference in a track.
