My Beginner Approach to Mixing

Mixing still feels like one of the hardest parts of music production. I’m learning that a good mix starts with simple choices: volume, panning, EQ, and not adding too many effects too early.

For now, I’m trying to keep things basic. I balance the levels first, clean up muddy sounds, and make sure every part has space. It’s not perfect yet, but I’m starting to hear the difference.
